My home was recently constructed last year and I am unable to obtain a copy of the actual building plans from the builder. Does the city keep copies of the plans for individual homes or have available the standard plans for previously approved floorplans for the major builders in the area?

Residential plans are kept on file for twelve months or until the project is complete. While plans are on file they are available for viewing as public record. However, due to copyright issues, we can not release plans without permission from the architect or designer. You may contact Building Inspections or the the City Secretary's office for information on making Request for Public Information.
