With the current food scare on the news, it is alarming that about 13% of the scores listed on the Frisco Website have a score of 20 or higher(zero is perfect)and another 19% have a score of 15-19. Also, there are some Frisco "favorites" like Hacienda and Luigi's that are missing. Why is this list incomplete? Does the City, C of C or a newspaer plan any publicity about this system? Are there any other plans to create awareness and/or to pressure restaurants to improve? Has the City or County considered a posting ordinance?

We are identifying possible cause of the missing data on the Health Inspections web site. In the past, the typical reason for this is due to the establishment's Health Permit expiring either by data error or their failure to renew on time. During routine health inspections, inspectors verify status of permit as well as address violations noted and discuss at length any corrective action required. We also offer a food safety class. At this time, we do not require food establishments to post their score or a copy of the inspection report at the business. A copy of a report may be obtained via a request for records submitted through the City Secretary's office. Thank you for the inquiry and thank you for your interest in the health inspection scores web site.
