I'm very confused by the signage and website. Is the current wooden park area at Frisco Commons being demolished/replaced or is Hope Park in addition to what's already there?

The project consist of two elements. First, the existing playground will be renovated, secondly, there will be an addition of the new Hope Park portion. The renovations to the existing structure will be made to allow room for the Hope Park portion as well as to replace elements that are worn. The renovation will replace a good portion of the wood elements with the engineered plastic wood. This will greatly reduce maintenance cost for the annual upkeep of the park.

Demolition of portions of the existing playground as well as site work to allow for the Hope Park portion will begin soon.
