The Main Street development projects surrounding the new Pizza Hut Park Soccer Complex is looking great, except for the old industrial, eye-soar "towers?" at the Main Street/Frisco Street Intersection. Any plans for these to me removed/relocated in the near future?

Brian-

A few months ago, the City of Frisco purchased the silos and the property around them. We are in the process now of reviewing options regarding the silos.

Thanks-

One person's "eye-soar" is another person's landmark. Will the City hold hearings on the fate of these familiar structures?

Stan-

Thanks for the comment. The Council as a whole has not yet considered how public input will be gathered for this decision. That being said, all decisions by the City Council are done in open, published meetings at which any citizen is encouraged to attend. Whether or not there would be "hearings" or meeting specific to this issue will be up to the Council.

As a side note, I beleive that the large concrete silos are being prepped for painting this week, wo you are likely to see some activity around the site soon. The concrete silos will be painted white, which restores them to their historical condition.

Thanks-
