Can someone tell me when the new street lights on Preston Trace and Sunset will become operative?

Also, there was talk at one time about a traffic signal at Preston Trace and Preston. Is there still any activity on this?

Steve,

The lights should be turned on any day now. We are waiting on the utility company to set the meter.

There have been discussions about having a traffic signal at Preston Trace and Preston. If the intersection meets the volume warrants, it would likely be built with the widening of Preston Road or shortly thereafter.

Thanks

Is there a city ordinance against swearing in public? The use of the "f" word is what I have in mind.

Offensive speech can be prosecuted under state law. This falls under the Discorderly Conduct statute.

The lights on Preston Trace were turned on for a couple of days, but have been off since. Is there any word on when they will be turned back on?

Per the City’s Project Manager, the photocell that controls the lights experienced a malfunction. The problem has been addressed and the lights should now be working properly again.
