There is land set aside for a big atlethic center in Panther Creek. (Panther Creek is on Eldorado and Hillcreast) When will that project begin?

Mark,

Thanks for your note regarding the Northeast Community Park site foiund within the Panther Creek Estates development near the intersection of Hillcrest and Eldorado.

The Northeast Community Park site is a 75.0 acre community park that was acquired by the Community Development Corporation in 1999.

Master planning of this community park will likely take place within the next 2-3 years by the Parks and Recreation Board and the Community Development Corporation.

Phased in development of this park site will likely begin within a year or two of the master planning for the park being decided.

Please let me or our staff know if you should have any further questions regarding this or other park projects.

Thanks again for your interest.
