With the opening of the Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers at Prestmont Pl and Preston, it seems the employees are parking on Prestmont Pl on both sides of the street. This has made the street very narrow now. There are no signs that say no parking, but is it still ok for a business to have its employees park on public streets?

It is legal park on the majority of Prestmont Place and it is wide enough to accommodate it (even with cars parked on both sides, there is room for two normal sized travel lanes between them). However, cars should not park in the area near Preston Road where Prestmont is divided by a median. We will check to see if this type of parking is occurring and install No Parking signs if necessary. I would guess that once the newness of the restaurant wears off, and they eliminate their extra training staff, fewer employees will park on the street (if any).
