I've read there is a RV parking permit you can obtain from the Frisco Police Department that will allow you to park 48 hours prior to departure and 24 hours after arrival from your trip.

1. What is the cost of this permit? Can you obtain the permit the day before you need to park or is there a greater lead time required?
2. Are you allowed to unhitch the tow vehicle during the 48hour and 24 hour periods.
3. Does the permit need to be displayed in the window of the trailer or tow vehicle?
4. If a neighbor calls the police to complain of my trailer being parked in front of my house during the permit period will the neighbor be told I have a permit and no police will be dispatched?

To help answer all of your questions regarding RV parking as it relates to the city's ordinance and permitting for such, please contact the police department's Records Division at 972.292.6000, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. They handle all of the permits and will be able to help ensure that you are within city policy.
