The previous work on the intersection was a temporary fix that has not held up as well as we had hoped. We are currently investigating options for a permanent fix. At this time, I do not have an estimated time for when the intersection will be repaired.

Please advise as to the plan to repair the road on the north side of the intersection at Cotton Gin and Stonebrook. We have been driving around cones for months. It doesn't appear to have any work being done to it and it's a concern for our Pearson Farms residents.

There has not been any work done at the intersection yet. We are working with contractors to determine the soil properties and method of repair. The intersection has already been repaired once and has to be redone. We want to make sure that doesn't happen again. It is our expectation that the intersection will be repaired in the next couple of months.

It has been a few months since the last post. What is the status of this repair work? Do you have a date on when it will be completed?

I apologize for the delay. Completion of this project is simply taking longer than expected. We have completed the study of the soils under the pavement and are currently determining the best course of action for repair. We are targeting completion of the pavement in August.
