Will they replace the trees that were pulled by the water main construction on Rolater Road between Preston Road and Hillcrest?

The City completed the water line construction, then separately completed the median lighting project. The next project that would need to be scheduled for this median area would be irrigation and landscaping. Landscaping would likely consist of smaller ornamental trees (such as crepe myrtles or something similar) rather than large shade trees due to the waterline below ground. A timeline for this work has not yet been set, as budget constraints have limited the amount of money available for median enhancements. When funding becomes available again, I would expect this project to be a priority. You can contact me if you have further questions.

Has there been any update on putting the tree back. It would seem for another post that this has been forgotten.

Tress were removed for construction of water line and not replaced because the street lights were to be installed soon after. If trees were replanted before the street lights, the trees may have been in conflict. Parks will replace when money is allocated in the budget, after next FY.
