Robert:

The City Council adopted the Water Management Plan last April. This plan includes a Water Efficiency Plan that is effective year-round. Mandatory two day a week watering is required only in July, August, and September of each year. Time of day restrictions (5-8 am and 10 am to 6 pm) are effective during Daylight Saving Time. However, other restrictions apply throughout the year such as watering during rainfall or at temperatures below 40 F. We also prohibit over watering that results in runoff. You may review the entire plan at www.friscotexas.gov/water or you may contact my office at 972-292-5800. Thanks.
