Does Frisco have any procedures in place for disposal of or recycling of compact florescent lights?

We provide a free drop off at our Environmental Collection Center, 6616 Walnut Street. Hours of operation Wednesday 2 – 7 pm. Saturday 8am– 1pm. Please be sure to wrap bulbs with newspaper before transporting; this will prevent breakage which is important as many of these bulbs contain mercury.

I have also provided link to our website as bulbs are not the only item we recycle at this center, directions are also provided. http://www.friscotexas.gov/departments/publicworks/environmentalservices/collect ioncenter/Pages/default.aspx

Please note address is listed as 6726 Walnut on web this is incorrect and will be changed.

Another opportunity for you recycle is our Chunk your Junk event this weekend (also held at same location) details below

Thanks for recycling!

Environmental Services Manager
