Saturday (5/16) you could see a lot of smoke in the NE direction. It looked like the cause didn't last long but the smoke hung in the air for a few hours. Does anyone know what it was burning? Any health issues since the smoke didn't dissipate quickly?

Unfortunately, we are not aware of what may have caused what you saw on Saturday. We did not have any fires in Frisco on the day in question and verified with the McKinney Fire Department that they did not have any fires as well.
There was a significant fire near U.S. 380 on Sunday night that had a column of smoke that could be seen for quite some distance.
If I can answer any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
