A balloon vendor just told me that the City changed its balloon permit policy and retailers can now put balloons up for 42 days in a year. Is this correct? If we want to do a large balloon with a flag streamer, is this allowed and does it need to be permitted?

Businesses are allowed a temporary Inflatable Device for a period of fourteen days, three times per year. Inflatable device signs must be anchored to the ground, not exceed 30 feet in height. A banner may be attached to the device but flags, streamers or wind devices are not allowed. Please contact Building Inspections at 972 292-5301 for questions regarding the sign ordinance.
