What are the current codes for noise walls for commercial zones bordering residentials? There is a car wash behind our subdivision and the noise from the dryers, etc. has been very loud lately.

The City's Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance requires that a 6 to 8 foot screening wall be constructed between residential and commercial development. While this wall may reduce noise it is soley intended for screening and not noise reduction. The City has no requirements for true noise walls.
