Is the city any closer to installing any type of lighting at the intersection. If this is still wating on a traffic light, why can't a street light or two be installed until the traffic light.

We have plans to install street lighting and/or traffic signals at multiple locations in the city, but only have so much funding each year. We are currently in the process of re-evaluating our capital improvement project priority list (which includes lighting, signals, roads, and water & sewer lines). By January, we should know which of the many pending projects we will prioritize for funding in the next year.
There are no overhead utilities running through the intersection of Gaylord & Ohio, so it is not possible to have the power company install temporary street lights.
