With the old GIS Frisco Maps, the soil type was a part of the elevation map. Can this be added to the new map?

The Soil Conservation Service maps are not shown on the GIS for the following reasons:

1. Adding additional layers slows response time.
2. Most of the data was collected prior to the re-grading of the soils at the time of development. Hence the data would no longer be reliable.
3. We have not found a great interest from the public.
4. The data is available at Please be patient with their site because it is slow. It appears the data was collected in the mid 90s.

Thanks for your question.
