Now that 121 is open there are major backups in the mornings southbound on the tollway from people exiting to get onto 121. Im sure this is going to continue to get worse as more people start to use 121. Are there any plans maybe to put in direct on/off ramps from the Tollway so you dont have to exit and go through an intersection to get on 121?

Yes. The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is in the process of designing the “direct connectors” portions of this interchange. You may wish to contact the NTTA directly to obtain more information regarding this subject. Not all of the direct connectors will be built with the initial construction however from my discussions with NTTA.
