Prior to the construction of the pool and related facilities, a site plan and a plat were required. These were reviewed by city staff and approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission. On the plat a fire lane, access, and utility easement was included to provide for the use of the property by the residents and guests. A fire lane is required to provide access to the property and to provide the basis for the issuance of illegal parking citations by the Fire Marshal in the event that the drive is blocked.
