I live in Griffin Parc and I have heard rumblings and grumblings about the pool parking lot. Can you tell me how the parking lot is "zoned" if that is the right term and how it received "fire lanes". Thanks!!

Prior to the construction of the pool and related facilities, a site plan and a plat were required. These were reviewed by city staff and approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission. On the plat a fire lane, access, and utility easement was included to provide for the use of the property by the residents and guests. A fire lane is required to provide access to the property and to provide the basis for the issuance of illegal parking citations by the Fire Marshal in the event that the drive is blocked.
