I live near 423 and Eldorado and notice the nice lighted street signs at the traffic lights just west on the Little Elm side all the time. I was driving down the southbound access road of the Tollway today and noticed some of those signs being installed in Frisco now. Are there plans to roll more of these out or is it very limited use? They look REALLY nice and add to the appeal of Frisco I think.

We have had several of these signs installed since about 2003. Frisco currently has 99 signs installed at 30 of our 75 signalized intersections. Our recent shipment includes another 8 signs that will be installed at 2 more intersections.

We are unable to install these signs at spanwire signals (wood poles) and at intersections along TxDOT roadways. Our next round of orders will includes additional signs for the intersections along Dallas Parkway.

Once our signs are approved for TxDOT roadways, you will see more of these signs along Preston and other state routes.
