Now that the trees have been removed to allow for the new 42" water line on Rolater between Preston and Hillcrest, will the city be installing Street Lights after the water line is installed? If not, what is the plan to install the Street Lights to illuminate Rolater at night?

The design plans for lighting on Rolater from Preston to Coit are 95% complete. Once the water line project is complete, we will finish the plans. We are waiting until it is complete in case there are any changes made to the water line as it is constructed. Once the lighting plans are finished, we will bid the job. The water line project is expected to finish in the spring 2009. I would expect the lighting construction to begin in the summer or early fall of 2009.
