Is it illegal to drive on the left side of the neighborhood roads when there is a line of cars on the right side of the road dropping off their kids? In otherwords in the face of oncoming traffic even though there are no white or yellow street lines? Some parents are trying to bypass the dropoff line.

It is permissible to pass on the left, when safe to do so according to the Texas Transportation Code, as long as their is no signage or official postings prohibiting such actions. In your particular situation, we will have officers monitor the area for violations and take action as needed. Please feel free to contact the Frisco Police Department directly at 972-292-6010 should you have any additional questions or need to report any offenses.
