I noticed several surveyors on some property on the north side of Panther Creek Parkway just east of the K Hovnanian community of Crown Ridge. I was wondering if someone would be able to answer a couple of questions.
1. Is that property privately owned?
2. If it is not privately owned, what zoning does that land have.
3. Has anyone, or any company subitted any applications, preliminary site plans, or re-zoning requests?

Thanks,
Sam

Sam,

The property is privately owned. Miramonte Development Partners submitted a rezoning request in early 2006. This rezoning was approved by the City Council in August 2006. In September 2006 they submitted a preliminary plat for the property which was approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission in October 2006.

Shouldn't there have been signs up stating that the land was proposed to be re-zoned? And what was it re-zoned too?

Bryan,

The zoning is now Planned Development-Single Family-3/Single Family-4/Single Family-5/Patio Home/Townhome/Retail. Four signs were posted on the property in compliance with City requirements. Three were posted on Panther Creek Parkway and one on County Road 25.
