Frisco only has one library which is quite far from the south or east part of frisco. With a lot of new communities coming up on independence-coit around eldorado to lebanon, is there any plan to open up new library in these areas ? Its
irony that we have to go to plano to access libraries.

Is there any way we as residents can influence this decision making process.

Thank you so much for your interest in the Frisco Library. The library is in the beginning stages our Master Plan process which will guide us in determining future library service types and locations. If you are interested in participating in the Master Plan process please contact me at sholley[at]friscotexas[dot]gov and I will make sure you are contacted as a part of the process.

You may be already aware that in addition to our physical location, the library currently offers many of its services online through our website at At the site, you can search the catalog, place a reserve on materials, ask reference questions, download ebooks and audio books, use our online resources, take online instructor led classes, get live online homework help, view our schedule of onsite classes, and download the Frisco Library App. For your convenience, you can use the library’s drive through to pick up items you have placed on reserve.
