Is the new tollway extension still opening on the 28th of Sept? It looks like there's still a lot to do. Will it be a full opening or will there be lanes and ramps closed on initial opening?

Thanks!

The NTTA is committed to opening the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) extension from Sh 121 to US 380 on September 28th. Our contractors have been working day and night in order to meet this deadline. Some of the construction work between the main lanes and frontage road will not be completed until after the DNT is opened, but the NTTA wants to deliver transportion relief as soon as possible rather than wait for the work to be 100% complete.

Currently, we anticipate that a couple of the ramps around Stonebrook may be delayed a couple of weeks after the main lanes are opened. In order to finish construction over the next couple of months, lane closures will be needed during off-peak periods.
