Is there a specific plan for bicycle "spinning" classes to be offered at the new rec center?

Is there an age requirement for the kids club (i.e. infants and toddlers), will reservations be required if so are they flexible times within the hours of op or would it be pre-set time windows? Is there a separate space for infants/toddlers away from bigger kids?
Will Towels be provided for gym and pools? Where do we get detailed info on all of this and more?

LibR,

Thank you for your message regarding programming elements for the Frisco Athletic Center. In regard to your questions, the child care within the Fun Club is available for children 8 weeks to 7 years old. At this time, reservations are not required, but depending on the popularity of this area, that might be a future requirement.

The hours of operation for the Fun Club are:

Monday - Thursday
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Friday & Saturday
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Sunday
Closed

We have a separate room for infants and toddlers and two additional recreation rooms for activities for the older children.

As you might know, the City Council recently approved included child care in the membership and staff is currently revising the policies for this area. When the policies are finalized you can find more information and details on our website at www.FriscoFun.org.

Towels will be provided for the fitness area only. We will not provide towels in the Aquatic areas.

Should you have any additional questions regarding this, please let me know.

Are there any archery ranges in or near the Frisco area to practice with my bow?

This website http://www.apartmentsite.com/Frisco.htm
states that there is an archery and putting range at the aquatic center. Is this true or is it in the works or just a misprint?

Mr. Binkley,

Thanks for your two notes regarding information about possible archery ranges in or near Frisco.

First of all, I cannot speak to where the apartment web site heard any information about a possible archery range in Frisco or at the Frisco Athletic Center. We do not have or are planning on providing an archery range at the Athletic Center or any of our park sites in the community.

For more information about our parks and recreation facilities, I would suggest going to our website at www.friscofun.org.

As far as other possible public archery ranges, I am not aware of any in the area, although I did find a yellow pages site that did list three or four in the the north Texas area for your review. That information can be found by going to http://www.magicyellow.com/category/Archery_Ranges/-State_TX.html

If you should have any additional questions, please feel free to let us know.

Thanks again for your note and interest.
