When coming from Plano into Frisco on the Preston Rd. overpass, the speed limit on the Plano side is 55 MPH. The speed limit on the Frisco side is not clearly posted. There is a 45 MPH sign towards the north end of the overpass in the median between the bypass lanes and the overpass lanes, but it is right next to the bypass lanes. It is not clear that it would apply to the overpass side as well. Could you please clarify where the 45 MPH speed limit takes effect when traveling north on the overpass?

The 45mph speed limit takes effect as you cross into the Frisco City limits. I have sent a request to TxDOT to have a 45mph sign placed adjacent to the Preston mainlanes just north of the overpass.
