Hi there. I was wondering when they are going to paint the overpasses at 121 & DNT. They are just rusting away at the current moment.

Also, any new news on submitting plans to landscape Elderado from DNT to Preston? Thanks again.

The rust is by design. Its a process in which the steel weathers to grow stronger and resistant to decay, called petina. There are currently no immediate plans for landscaping along Eldorado between Preston and DNT.

121 & DNT overpasses need painting. IF the rusting process is by design to allow the steel to strengthen, are there plans to ever paint?

The rust is by design. Its a process in which the steel weathers to grow stronger and resistant to decay, called petina. No plans to paint, the petina process is in lieu of painting and the ongoing maintenance costs associated with large scale, outdoor painting.
