I have noticed that the public area facing east towards Teel just north of Eldorado by Christie Ranch had the sprinklers running yesterday at 4-5 pm in the heat of the day when evaporation is at its highest. Shouldn't "the city" be leading by example? I have also noticed that the whole strip outside Newman Village is also being watered at improper times as well.

Thank you *for sharing your water waste observations and concern for our water resources.

We identified that this area is managed by Christie Ranch. Their HOA property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. They are contacting their landscape company to make adjustments. Newman Village has been notified. Both areas will be included on an observation list with the noted day and times.

We appreciate your help and the accommodations you’re making during this time as our community strives to use its water wisely and prevent wasted water. Let us know about water waste across Frisco through the online Water Waste Report Form. A daily observation list is generated from it and given to our compliance monitors. If monitors are unable to witness a reported problem, an educational door hanger is left. These courtesy door hangers indicate the potential issue and outline the Stage 3 restriction details.
