A new sign announcing Frisco Towers at the NW Corner of Legacy and SH121 has appeared. What is this development?

William,

It is a proposed retail development with a convenience store with fuel pumps; three restaurant site; and two buildings with a number of bays for retail businesses or restaurants. This project is going through the preliminary site plan process. The developer has not indicated if they have secured tenants or buyers of the outlots.

Towers implies several stories high. Is this not the case?

William,

As far as we know the name Frisco Towers is just a name to bring attention to their site. The property has a base zoning classification of Commercial-2 which has a height restriction of a maximum of 40 feet. The Zoning Ordinance does allow for architectural features to exceed this height but they can not be occupied space. This would allow ornamental towers greater than 40 feet but they could not be used for businesses. The developer has not submitted any type of facade plan that shows any type of towers. This can change but I suspect that it is only a site name at this point in time.

Are we talking about the NE corner? I believe the NW corner already has a building with several restaurants like Cantina Laredo and Silver Fox.
