Do you know when Stonebrook will be completed between Teel and FM 423?

Stonebrook Parkway (Teel to FM 423) is being constructed by the developer of the Phillips Creek Ranch subdivision. They have indicated that they anticipate completing construction of the roadway by the end of 2007.

Please note that the City of Frisco does not typically track developer construction schedules, nor do we enforce construction deadlines. The final schedule is determined solely by the developer.

How about Stonebrook going the other way, to DNT? I hear this is a very complicated section of road, 2 rivers and a railroad to cross...............

The section of Stonebrook that you are talking about is currently under design. The engineers are supposed to finish the plans this May. THe project will be bid in June, and construction should take 18 months.

Is there any update to the stonebrook connection between legacy and the DNT?

Project is currently under design. Included in this project is a bridge over Stewart Creek as well as an underpass for the BNSF railroad and the project crosses wetland areas. Permitting by the US Corps of Engineers is expected to take at least one year starting November 2007. Construction may begin once the permit is received and is expected to take approximately 18 months to complete. The consultant and staff are investigating ways to begin bridge construction prior to full environmental permitting to expedite the project. The design is currently 65% complete. BNSF is reviewing the proposal for the railroad shoofly.

Above, Matt Richardson stated the section of Stonebrook from Teel to 423 was to be constructed by the developer of the Phillips Creek Ranch.

But, I noticed in a more recent post that Scott Ingalls said "It is our understanding that the Phillips Creek Ranch project will not be moving forward. The developers have abandoned the project and the property is for sale."

If this is indeed the case, will this section of Stonebrook be completed by the city of Frisco?

Or, will we have to wait until another developer purchases this land and completes the roadway?

Since this is private property, the City has no plans at this time to complete the roadway. I would expect that the City will work with the entity that purchases the property to complete the roadway and any partially constructed improvements.
